Rock, Pop Rock, Alternative | Jacksonville, Florida
Acadence, from Jacksonville, Florida, were made up of former members of The Sophomore Attempt and released a 5-song EP called "The Safest Place to Be" in 2010. Members were: Donnie Webb (Drums), Zach Schweizer (Vocals/Guitar), Logan Stennett (Guitar), and Jeremy Ware (Bass).
They originally recorded their EP in 2009 with singer Mat Musto (previously of Polaroid) but after he exited the band they re-recorded the EP with Will Crafton (NameSake) and in early 2010 they released a single to iTunes called "The Movement" before splitting with Will. They then re-recorded the EP, for a second time, with new lyrics and Zach Schweizer stepping up to lead vocals. Sadly, after all the work put into the project Acadence didn't take off and ended up calling it quits within six months of the EP's official release.
Donnie Webb and Zach Schweizer went on to join the band Stages & Stereos in 2012.
