This blog is meant as an archive for preserving mainly pop punk and adjacent indie bands from the Myspace era whose music is not available for purchase or streaming. We’re simply trying to rescue the music we once loved from disappearing into that evergrowing digital dumpster. The majority of content preserved here will be on the poppier side but there are several great archivists out there focusing on the heavier music from those Myspace days. That being said, we will gladly accept anything you want to contribute even in a genre we wouldn’t normally feature here.
We do not preserve any material that is available for streaming or purchase, or any music from a still active record label. We follow DMCA copyright and will gladly remove any material from this blog upon written request by the copyright holder of said material to our email address: themyspacedumpster@gmail.com
We do not monetize this blog in any way nor will we ever ask for money. There are no ads or shady link shorteners. We do this simply because we love the music and don't want to see it disappear forever.
