The Hand Me Down Kids

The Hand Me Down Kids is a pop punk powerpop band from Lincoln, NE who knows that music is all about the fans. Lamoni Finlayson (vocals) started the band back in August 2008 as a solo project before bringing Fletcher Sherwood (guitar), Brandon Butterfield (bass), Anthony Butterfield (drums), and Paul Knapp (guitar) onboard to make the project into a full band line up. They started flooding Myspace with songs like “The Comeback”, “Heart to Molly”, and “College Girl Queen”, songs that conveyed the underdog feelings Lamoni was inspired by when he named the original solo project “The Hand Me Down Kid.” Those three songs reached over 105,000 plays on Myspace in the first six months and the band profile attracted over 9,000 myspace friends.

Since then, through fan communication and interaction they have revived a previously dead music scene in their area, and developed a strong online following with over 35 active street teams in more than twenty states, and even five different countries. Their fan base has continued to grow to over 16,000 Myspace friends and hundreds of text update subscribers in over 40 states. The band receives over 100 comments a day, but they still manage to get a reply out to almost everyone. They know that without dedicated fans with a passion and love for music, living out their passion of playing music together wouldn’t be possible. 

Some of their influences are bands such as Every Avenue, All Time Low, Forever The Sickest Kids, We The Kings, Mayday Parade, and many more. Even though they have only been a band for a short amount of time The Hand Me Down Kids have already started to make a name for themselves! They released their first demo titled “We’re Naked Under Our Clothes”, containing the band’s three original songs in March of 2009.

Lamoni was previously in the duo From a Whim and later went on to start the solo project We Should Whisper!

The Monster Goes Rawrr

The Monster Goes Rawrr (Sometimes stylized as The Monster Goes Rawrr!!) formed in mid 2009. In a scene overflowing with bands mixing rock and dance it’s difficult to stand out. However, The Monster Goes Rawrr, a rock/electro band from Brisbane, Australia, have achieved a sound that takes electro-based rock to a new level. The band has already made waves in the local music scene, supporting US electro heavyweights 3OH!3, UK rockers You Me At Six and Kids In Glass Houses, Texan popster The Secret Handshake and Aussie ex-pats Closure In Moscow. The Monster Goes Rawrr is destined to propel themselves further up the ranks of the Australian music scene.

Their self-titled album was originally released in 2010, but re-released in 2011 with three additional tracks. In 2013 the band changed their name to Like Rockets, reflecting a more matured pop rock sound.

Zac Seif

Zac Seif is an acoustic singer/songwriter based out of Dallas, Texas. Musician Eric Sauber also joined Zac on stage for his live performances. Zac originally released his second EP, Street Light City, under the moniker Satellites in wanting to pursue a bigger "band" sound but afterwards he went back to playing music under his own name and was active until 2012.

A Cover Story

Rock, Powerpop, Pop Rock | Orlando, Florida

Formed in Orlando, Florida in August of 2007 by current members Jonathan Carrillo, Ian O’Brien, Justin Polniak and Jonathan Honeycutt, A Cover Story has drawn attention as one of the new up-and-coming bands in Orlando. In 2009, new addition Nick Johnson from Under White Light joined the band. While recording their debut album, “Watch the Cities” which features Larry Soliman of My American Heart, they have rocked almost every stage in Orlando, making them a solid, hard-hitting contender in Orlando's music scene.

A Cover Story has shared the stage with national acts such as Automatic Loveletter (EPIC RECORDS), The Friday Night Boys (FUELED BY RAMEN), A Cursive Memory (VAGRANT RECORDS) and Farewell (EPITAPH RECORDS), as well as hometown heroes Between The Trees (BONDED/UNIVERSAL RECORDS) and There For Tomorrow (HOPELESS/SUB CITY RECORDS). Their sound has been described as ranging from established acts such as Fall Out Boy to newcomers such as The Audition.

With unforgettable lyrics and catchy guitar riffs, they have created music that you can’t help but sing and clap along to. A Cover Story has been perfecting their sound and advancing their music into the future, not only with style, but for longevity.

Daydream on Autopilot

Hailing from NYC and the Poconos of Pennsylvania, Daydream on Autopilot was a band waiting to happen. With this diverse group of dreamers ranging from classically trained musicians to hardcore rockers, their individual experiences range from playing concert halls, to every music venue in NYC, to opening for popular artists at Kiss FM concerts nationwide. Since then, their sound has developed into a more modern, heavier vibe.

Having already landed music on MTV shows such as "Pageant Place", "Parental Control", "Next", and more, with airplay on selected radio stations and a steadily building industry buzz, the rock 'n roll trio is currently gearing up for their 2008 fall FYE tour to promote their new EP "Better Off Alone" (now available on iTunes).  Teaming up with companies such as Samson / Hartke and FYE / TransWorld Entertainment, they not only strive to get their music heard, but to fulfull a greater purpose in using music to create a positive influence in the world.

Daydream on Autopilot not only takes audiences by storm with their energetic live performances, catchy songs, and upbeat personalities, but they work diligently to completely redefine the impact that rock stars have on developing minds.  Being a completely drug and alcohol-free band, the trio decided that if they were going to reach for the stars, they might as well help as many people as they can along the way.  Creating a positive influence for children as well as inspiring everyone to pursue their dreams has become an integral part of the band's goals.

Ready to take the world by storm, together they embark on an adventure to bring the world new and exciting music, awesome live shows, and an incredible music experience. Daydream on Autopilot had plans to record a full length record, and even entered the studio, but nothing was released. They won a Hollywood Music award and had a full blown Peavey sponsorship. Singer Emii later got signed and started a solo career.
