Rock, Alternative | Alexander City, Alabama
Noisegate came onto the rock music scene in 2004 with a sound that that no ear could ignore. With their high energy performances with memorizing song writing, the groups message is of hope and love that comes from surrendering your life to Christ.
Band members were: Eric Miller (Lead Guitar), Evan Lanier (Drums), Clay Walker (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Paul Blankenship (Bass)
The band started as worships leaders at their home churches, but soon felt God calling them to another direction. With following the direction of God Noisegate soon came to reality. “Noisegate to me is a group that’s doesn’t care what anyone thinks but instead a group that wants to sing to God the father in one voice and above all follow his will”. (Eric Miller-Lead Guitarist Noisegate)
Though new to the Christian rock scene, the band has made powerful impact on music listeners abroad. They have been working with producer CR Pendleton (Pendlewood Studios, MTV, VH1, John Reuben, Inhale Exhale) on their sophomore album with their EP “The Inner Struggle” due to be released in the Fall of 2008 and the Full Length schedule to hit stores in the summer 2009. Noisegate has landed opening slots for bands like Toby Mac, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, family Force Five, Building 429, and Audio Adrenaline and was featured as the “Hottest up and coming Christian act in America” at the Boutwell Auditorium in January 2006 . In 2007 the band was the winner of the J93.3 WDJC Battle of the Bands and was featured main stage at Christian music weekend in ATL.
