Fiction City

Pop Punk, Alternative, Pop Rock | Toronto, Ontario, Canada
New Lineup Band Photo, 2007

Fiction City's four members have a wide array of influences. Two of the members, the brothers, Randy and Johnny Simmen, have been writing music and touring together since their early teens (in the band Trouble With Ferguson/Berlington). The other two members, Dan Sadowski and Paul Greenberg, have also known each other for many years, working alongside one another, in and around Toronto.

Looking to expand their fanbase South of the border, in February 2007 Fiction City left for their first Coastal American tour. No quicker as they took off, they returned to their native soil to write and record a new album, ultimately reconstructing and maturing their sound.

There was a lineup and direction change between their initial EP and full-length releases. Their original lineup for their first release was: Daniel Carson (Vocals), Paul Greenberg (Bass), Anthony Tota (Guitar), Dan Sadowski (Guitar), and Geoffrey Padmore (Drums).

Fiction City later changed their name to She Swings before ultimately disbanding. Drummer Johnny Simmen went on to start the band Colour Color with Kyle Sipress, formerly from the band Carawae.
