The Breakdown
Pop Rock, Powerpop, Rock | Atlanta, Georgia
The Breakdown is not just a band of brothers, cousins, and friends. The Breakdown is a group of musicians and songwriters that bring with them distinctive musical styles to give this band a versatile and powerful sound. This versatility is showcased on their first EP, Thoughts Lost in Yellow Lines. The Breakdown recorded Thoughts Lost in Yellow Lines in their hometown at Tree Sound Studios. The project was produced and engineered by Zack Odom (brother / cousin to the band) who produced, among many others, Epic recording artist Cartel’s last 2 projects (Self Titled – 2007 / Chroma – 2006).
For these guys, creating music is in their blood. Three of the four band members are cousins from a rich musical heritage of several generations including their grandfather, James Odom (Georgia Jim), who was inducted into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame in 1991. Odom’s songs were recorded by Eddie Arnold, Jean Shepherd, Faron Young and many others. This musical inheritance was evident in their win of the Battle of The Bands in February 2007, sponsored by Gary Goodstuff Productions. To The Breakdown, the word that best describes them and their music is passionate. These four guys are passionate about creating music that engages and impacts the culture in which they live.
Members: James Odom (Vocals/Piano), Sam Mendoza (Vocals/Guitar), Ted Braunius (Bass Guitar), Wesley Mendoza (Drums)

Days in May
Alternative, Pop Punk, Rock | Raleigh, North Carolina
The band got started in early 2009 as an acoustic project with original members Lance Carrier and Scott Hill. After playing several shows, they decided to expand the project to a full band. After a bit of searching they found Tim Morrison and became a trio, missing a bassist. In December of 2009 the band FINALLY got their bassist Kaelie Kandel.
After a year of touring and recording Scott decided that he wanted to focus on other things, so the band started searching for a new member and playing what they could. They didn't end up finding a new member that fit and wanted the same things they did until April of 2011. That member was Joey Harper. Since then the band has played several shows and is working on recording their first full length album.
