Racing Kites is a five piece rock band from New Jersey who love to write music. With members from previous musical outfits such as Postmark September, Hudson, County Line, and Reilly; Racing Kites formed in late '05 and quickly began to write their debut EP. Creating catchy songs you can dance, and sing along to. The guys of Racing Kites want nothing more than to tour the country and meet everyone they can, and to make playing music their lives.

The band recorded a 7 song demo in 2007 but, as far as we can tell, only a few songs from it were ever made available to the public.

A Midnight in Chicago is an American/Canadian 5-piece rock band, formed in Houston, Texas in 2008. The band has been described as a variety of genres, most commonly pop punk, alternative rock, and hardcore pop. Based out of Houston, Texas, the band consists of Canadian siblings: Nick, Seb, and Dave. Also in the band are Jeff on the drums and Ivan on the bass guitar. According to Seb and Nick, the band's rival frontmen, their sound is influenced a lot by hardcore and pop punk artists, past and present.

The Real You

The Real You was originally a 5-piece band started by Ryan Striker in 2005 in San Diego, California. During the latter end of 2006 Ryan relocated to Seattle, Washington and later reformed The Real You with all new members.

Since their re-conception in early 2007 they have not only toured relentlessly, but have also achieved many notable accomplishments for an unsigned act. After 2 self-booked full US tours, 2 self-booked West Coast runs, and a short stint in Hawaii with Lifehouse, The Real You were asked to participate in the annual South-by-Southwest music conference in Austin, TX. For 3 nights they showcased their unique style of blending catchy hooks with a fresh take on the Pop/Rock genre. The Real You were also asked to perform at this years annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT to give movie fans a chance to get out of their seats and rock! With their new EP "Better Now Than Never" produced by Jim Wirt (Jack's Mannequin, The Rocket Summer) coming out in December, only time will tell the big things in store for these guys!

Goodnight Medic

Pop Punk, Rock, Powerpop | Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada

Alexander Johnson and Alan Poettcker formed Goodnight Medic along with Matt Vink, Brad Fry, and Mark Sawatzky. Goodnight Medic placed in the top 10 of the 2008 Fox Seeds contest, but broke up in February 2009 via a Facebook announcement, stating "We will be back again in the form of something great and new." Following the departure of Brad and Mark, Alex, Alan, and Matt formed a new group called These Kids Wear Crowns.

They first produced an EP as Goodnight Moon before settling on the band name Goodnight Medic but it never got officially released. We've included it in this archive.

The Weakness

It is commonly acknowledged that for something to live, something else has to die. If one were to venture forth in search of an example, one must look no further than where you find yourself now. From the ashes of a band once called October Nites has risen a powerful pop-rock Phoenix known as The Weakness. The stars had already aligned, it would seem, when the face-melting finger wizardry of lead guitarist Naren Ananda chanced to unite with the soul shaking percussive styling of drummer Brandon Wakeham. However, when combined with the thunderous support of bassist Bryan King, and the histrionic lyrical onslaught of vocalist Ryan Coughlin, something truly inspired has been brought to life. So, gentle reader, I humbly implore you to hesitate no longer... and give it up for The Weakness.

October Nites

October Nites have only one goal in mind: to bring listeners back to the days when Pop/Rock had character and emotion. Their refreshing and intricate style sets them apart from the other preset, cookie-cutter, oven-baked bands of today. In Rock & Roll there are no rules, and October Nites certainly has no boundaries.

Now the time has come for them to push on further than before, and they are committed to take the nation by storm! 2009 will be a huge year for the band, as they will be heading out both far and wide across the United States. Their debut EP “When We Were Infinite,” created a vast buzz in the scene which painted both positive and promising reviews from respected shakers such as AbsolutePunk.net and The Daily Chorus. The band also landed several of their songs from their debut EP on episodes of MTV’s “NEXT,” along with several other show placements planned for the future!

October Nites is one of those rare bands that actually has a name that fits its music. October Nites conjures images of warm, fall nights with long car rides and no place to go but to stay wrapped up in the moment you're in; a sweet, but melancholy scene. That image perfectly represents October Nites musical sound and direction. They take the trials and tribulations of adolescence and turn them into truth filled and heart felt songs. The rawness of emotion expressed vocally in the songs is balanced out by the delicate guitar work of Naren Ananda. Woodale

Woodale: Five musicians, lead by singer/songwriter Matt Wilbur, successfully crafting and performing genuinely enjoyable music. Woodale achieves an ingenious blend of tried and true pop hooks, honest, heart-felt lyrics, and a level of musicianship rarely seen in recent rock bands. Their songs balance the qualities of being instantly catchy and at the same time deeply profound and lasting, and their concerts break expectations as to what live performances can, and should, be.

Matt Wilbur's outstanding vocals convey all the richness of the lyrics and melody while Adam Pruitt and Jonathan "Dubs" Streets sweeten the vocals with their beautiful harmonies. All three singers fill Woodale's sound with quality guitar work and Dubs excellently maneuvers between guitar and piano. The rhythm section consists of Ryan Bates' fluid and infectious drumming and Tom Blair's solid and precise bass work. Together the members of Woodale thrive on stage with performances that achieve the remarkable caliber their music requires.

It is no wonder why Woodale manages to find a permanent place in the repeating play-list inside our heads. Both their songs and their concerts continue to raise the bar, bringing us back for more. This is what a rock band should be.

MAISIE

Alternative, Indie, Pop | Pompano Beach, Florida

MAISIE has only begun this journey slowly starting in June of 2008. Mel Denisse decided to start solo with this project so it could grab other opportunities, but didn't expect a turnaround to her whole life in such a short period of time. After re-recording demos for a few months, she hit Rockbot Studios to record the first EP titled, 'Visions' during the month of November 2008. Already with 'Visions' released on iTunes and other online music stores on December 20, 2008, she's in the midst of taking the next step to release another EP in the works titled, 'Separate Worlds,' which is the real beginning to her message and abilities.

"I always knew I needed to do this, using my voice to reach out to whoever needs to hear these words, but it was just a matter of time before it was the right time", says Mel. With a few short tours and performances, and meeting new people, she's found a sense of direction. The message of 'Visions' was greatly stressed during the few months of the EP being recorded for reasons of eyes being opened up to the world to see real truth, and not a truth that we look to in the world everyday. With unique lyrics, she describes, "I hate sugar coating what I want to say. I felt like I let that go a little bit the first time around, but now I feel like I am completely letting everything go into these new songs without the fear of people turning away from the message. Our world isn't a pretty place, and when we put out our sufferings and a sense of truth in a place of darkness, lives can be changed and that is the ultimate goal."
