Spend your hard-earned money on tickets to see Slow Motion Red Lights perform, and you’ll get what you paid for: a show. This band is a magnet for the limelight. There’s just no escaping it, and there’s certainly no denying it.

After belonging to countless dead-end projects, something bigger brought these five guys together in January of 2008. With the majority of members having been in previous projects together, it is no wonder why the band is moving so rapidly.

We don't think Slow Motion Red Lights ever had an official release but they were finishing up their debut EP, with producer Geoff Rockwell, when they disbanded.

Chris, Paul, and Armando went on to form the band Empire Holiday. Matt later started the solo project Boy Epic.

Out Together

We are Out Together a new voice screaming out from the desert of Palm Springs, California, where the rich and famous go to get away from their big city lifestyle. Since our start, in February of 2008, our band has written over a dozen songs with more in the works. The voice you hear is that of our friends and families triumphs and tragedies; loves and losses, and from all of this we have drawn inspiration. As you tune in to our music you will hear influences of pop, funk, jazz, indie, classic rock, hardcore, and punk. We write our music for everyone, which includes our friends, family and you to come OUT TOGETHER and enjoy!

Kevin McCullough previously made solo music under the moniker A Trip to Paris and after Out Together disbanded Kevin continued making solo music under his own name before starting the electronic rock band Ghost Town.

This Love

This Love, in short, is a rock/pop band from Dayton, OH consisting of members Joe McFaddin (vocals, guitar), Jake Bonham (guitar, vocals), Wes Comer (drums), Jake Sims (bass, vocals), and Jake Rinehart (piano, vocals).

The young group is wasting no time getting started. With an acoustic set featured on the home page of Stickam, a full-page article in Substream Magazine, a home page feature on Purevolume.com, and their first show being in front of thousands at Journey’s Backyard BBQ, This Love is determined to establish their place in the music industry.

This Love is based simply around living with passion. The hope is that listeners can relate to their music and lyrics, and in doing so find inspiration to live the way they truly want.

 The band originally started under the name Callahan but after several member and sound changes they also decided to change their name to This Love.

Ericson

Rock, Alternative, Pop | Boston, Massachusetts

Formed in the suburbs of Boston, Ericson came together in the winter of 2004 when high school friends Thomas Whitehead, Jared Tocci and Jon Perri decided to start something new and fresh out of the played-out New England music scene. After playing in various bands throughout high school, Thomas, Jared and Jon decided to start taking their music more seriously and really make a name for themselves in the scene. The trio was then introduced to guitarists Jesse Small and Brandon McCullock who immediately clicked musically and added a new element to the band. After practicing for months and writing songs via the internet from their separate college dorm rooms, Ericson finally decided they had enough material and money saved up to head into the studio and self-release their debut EP. This release entitled "Resting on Right Now" was recorded during the summer of 2005 with producer John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, The Ataris, Brand New) at Nada Recording Studio in New York. This diverse EP helped Ericson form their own niche in the Boston music scene being able to play with almost any act in the area. Their first single, “Hesitations”, also got some airplay on local radio stations and surrounding college radio shows. After a few months of playing shows and promoting “Resting on Right Now”, Brandon decided to leave the band and was replaced with their high school friend Bobby Washburn (formerly of Lancaster, the band now known as Boys Like Girls). Ericson instantly picked up momentum and started to gain popularity as they played all over the New England area. During the summer of 2006, Ericson decided to take their band to the next level. They took out a loan for a 15-passenger van and trailer to embark on their first self-booked east coast tour for eight weeks. This summer tour started to make Ericson a household name by giving them the opportunity to share the stage with such acts as the Vans Warped Tour, The Jonas Brothers (Hollywood Records), Cheyenne Kimball (Epic Records, MTV’s “Cheyenne”), Cartel (Wind-Up Records), Boys Like Girls (Columbia Records), Copeland (Columbia Records) and many more talented artists. This led to internet buzz, which caused their Myspace site to have over 275,000 plays and over 35,000 friends to date. By playing over a hundred shows in less than two years, Ericson has always put an emphasis on their energetic and powerful live show. In winter 2007, Ericson decided to take some time off from touring to focus on writing their next release. Their self-titled EP, “Ericson”, was released in August of 2008 and features five brand new songs that the members of Ericson wrote, recorded and produced all on their own in their rehearsal space. This five-song, self-titled release encompasses everything Ericson has been trying accomplish during the last few years. With original and intelligent songwriting combined with catchy hooks and rhythms, Ericson is trying to appeal to a broader audience of music lovers everywhere. If this release is any indication to what Ericson is capable of doing, expect to see big things from these five young men from Massachusetts.

BannerHill

Rock, Pop Punk, Hardcore | Orange County, California

BannerHill is a duo of songwriting, multi-instrument playing best friends, Matthew Lindblad and Liz Hill. The two united to form BannerHill in 2008 with humble beginnings; long hours writing in a garage equipped with two acoustics and a MacBook to record it all. Fusing Matthew's sense of song composition, Liz's ease with words, and their combined gifts for melody, the two quickly found themselves with enough material for an album and then some.

In May of 2009, BannerHill entered the studio to record their debut EP "Beautiful.Dangerous" under the direction of Colby Wedgeworth (Bidwell, Josiah James, Italia Conte). Blending influences that bridge pop, rock, punk, hardcore, and more, BannerHill's debut EP showcases the duo's versatility, energy, and talent. Joined in live shows by additional friend-musicians, BannerHill is rapidly building their fanbase with each dynamic performance.

As important as the music itself, is the purpose on which BannerHill was founded. Matthew and Liz believe strongly in leaving a positive mark on each person who hears their recorded music or encounters the group live. "Through music and the opportunities it grants us, we tell anyone who will listen that they are loved, and that their lives are for a greater purpose than what they've been lead to believe", says Hill regarding the band's mission. With soaring melodies, pulse-raising anthems, and fist-pumping sing-alongs, BannerHill is sure to revive the grass-roots movement of girl-fronted bands not seen in their hometown of Orange County since No Doubt. Though BannerHill is young, they are certainly not one to overlook.

Imagine yourself in a vast desert, with millions upon millions of footprints following one after the other. You squint towards the horizon as you shield your eyes from the blistering sun. You trace the footprints up and you notice they lead to a beautiful oasis filled with delicious food, glistening water, and plenty of shade. As you set off for your paradise, you look over your shoulder and notice that there is one more path you had missed, this one with only a few footprints leading into a dark, dense fog. You snap your head back around to add a new pair of footprints to millions before you…after all, what fool would take the path that is so infrequently walked?

As a human being devoted to your cause, you discover that you will never find you’re out of the fog if you choose to venture in to it….you will only dig deeper and deeper in. This is where the path of the few yields its rewards, discovery of ones self and the right to be an individual. You are not lost, just merely on a adventure. Much like Columbus hundreds of years before us, we have set out into the unknown despite societies biases.
