Good News First is a female-fronted, pop/rock band from Madison, Wisconsin. Their current release is a 5-song EP called Finding A Way Out, recorded in Madison, WI in 2009 with producer Paul Schluter.

The current lineup of Good News First consists of Kacey Henkelmen (vocals), Chris Aalid (guitar/vocals), Mike Lee (guitar), Joey Mcguire (bass), and Dylan Jordee (drums).

Good News First has played with bands such as Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Maine, The Ready Set, Stephen Jerzack, and many more. They have also appeared at several festivals throughout the midwest.
